Mrs. O’s Fit Review:

Reveal Long Sleeve

The sizing on this LS is S (size 2-4), M (size 6-8) or L (size 10-12).  Since I’m a size 6 in the Swiftly LS, I tried on the M.  It seems to be TTS.  The problem I have with S, M or L sizing is that the M’s start to stretch and get too loose.  I have a tank in the same material and after a few wears, it starts to stretch and slide up.  The scoop neck was nice but it’ll always show your bra straps.  I’m ok with that.  But if you’re not, it will probably bother you because there’s no way to adjust the straps to hide them.   (I’m wearing the Free to Be bra under the shirt.  My favorite bra!).  I’m not sure if I liked the sheerness of the back.  But it is a nice lightweight LS to wear.  Although the fabric looks delicate, it’s much more sturdy than I expected.  Beware; it will show all your bumps and lumps!  If I needed a lightweight shirt, I probably wouldn’t buy a long-sleeved one.  I prefer the Swiftlies to the Reveal LS.

Swiftly Tech LS Crew *Breeze

In Swiftly LS, my TTS is 6.  This was TTS.  I could wear the size 4 (because of the relaxed fit — not too tight in the arm holes) but I liked the looser fit of the size 6.  What I love about the Swiftly LS is the thumb holes. This version doesn’t have thumb holes.  The cuffs on the sleeves were so-so for me.  I wish the cuff on the bottom of the shirt was wider.  I’m undecided on this LS.  But I know there are ladies out there that would love the no thumb hole aspect of this LS.  I think I would like this shirt in white but the store didn’t have my size.  Since the weather is warming up, I’ll probably pass for now.

Two With One Short

I actually liked this short a lot because it didn’t have a lining.  I find the linings in the other shorts give me visible panty line.  If they would make the lining in the women’s shorts like the men’s shorts it would be much nicer.  Or, at least, a less elastic-y and thinner edge/hem on the liner.  The length was nice and it was light weight.  For the same price as other shorts, this one is great because it is reversible.  I’ll probably end up buying a few pairs.  This short fit TTS for me.  I believe the inseam is 2.5-3 inches.  But I may try one size up to see if the legs are a bit looser but usually when I do that, the waist gets too loose.

Thanks for the review & photos- super helpful.
This does solidify my belief that I do not need any of these things. 😛 They are not special in any way!

Thanks for the fit reviews Mrs. O. The Reveal l/s looks very tight and uncomfortable and not a style I gravitate towards especially with such a large wide neckline. I have been curious about the Swiftly l/s Breeze but like you I really prefer thumbholes and unless it came out in some nice actual Spring colours, I am not interested. Mrs. O were you able to push up the sleeves or are they as tight as the regular l/s Swiftly?
